Unlike resistive-touch, the capacitive touchscreen requires just a touch rather than a push to register a click.The phone sports a ergonomic body with an attractive design and is crafted from high quality plastic. The glossy finish is scratch-resistant but is still prone to fingerprints. It comes with 2.8" Touch Screen with a standard 240 x 320 pixel resolution.
The Corby is perfect for basic navigation, music, text messaging and other basic stuff. It features the TouchWiz interface which is quite of a surprise considering its an entry level touchscreen. The phone comes with 3 home screens, and lets you pull out icons from the sidebar to any of the three screens.
The S3653 Corby sports a 2.0 MP camera , it lacks a flash but offers surprisingly good picture clarity, also the phone's bright display makes the photos look more detailed. It supports the Smile shot feature and can track a frame and snap a picture as soon as it detects a smiling face. The camera interface in the phone is fully touch-optimized and lets you choose white balance and shoot modes with ease
The device is loaded with standard organizer widgets like calendar, alarm clock, calculator and to-do lists, memos and notes. The phone also has an alarm clock, which lets you set up 10 different alarms with personalized tones. It comes preloaded with an office document viewer that supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files.
