Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is a mid-range smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard, it is similar to its older brother, SE Vivaz ,except for the addition of the QWERTY keyboard and added thickness of 2mm.Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro offers five home screens which you can swipe through, to access Twitter, favourite contacts, a 'normal' screen with no widgets, media section to see photos and a customisable shortcuts screen. The Vivaz Pro features a resistive TFT touch screen display, 5 mega pixel camera, HD video recording, A-GPS support, Google Maps and Wi Fi. It supports tri band HSDPA and quad band GPRS connectivity. The16:9 aspect ratio display in the phone lets you downsample HD content sans any black bars.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro supports Class 10 GPRS and Class 10 EDGE, apart from connectivity options like Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0. The phone comes with 75 MB internal memory and supports microSD cards up to 8 GB.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro's Li-ion battery provides talk time of up to 12 hours and 30 minutes on 2G network and up to 5 hours and 10 minutes for 3G users. It sports a 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash and can capture images at a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels. The phone supports an array of imaging features like auto focus, geo tagging, touch focus, and smile and face detection. The SE Vivaz Pro can also shoot video at HD 720p and supports Facebook and Twitter applications.
The Vivaz Pro comes with a multiformat supporting music player that can play MP3/WMA/WAV/RA/AAC/M4A files, the video playback WMV/RV/MP4/3GP files. Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro sports an integrated FM radio with RDS support. The device has an extremely user-friendly music player interface that allows easy access to your playlists with TrackID music recognition service.
